Посвящаю это исполнение моему педагогу по специальному фортепиано Светлана Васильева которая научила меня в своё время любить и понимать музыку Баха. Поздравляю дорогую Светлану Леонидовну с прошедшим днём рождения.
Традиционно принято исполнять это произведение более подвижно, но меня впечатлил молодой Glenn Gould с более, чем сдержанным темпом, который, в дань уважения, повторил и я.
Кроме pizzicato струнного оркестра, наиболее сложным, с философской, не исполнительской, точки зрения, оказалась для меня партия ударных. Её не было в партитуре Баха, но я позволил себе внести собственную символику. Впрочем, это произведение, написанное для клавесина в сопровождении струнного оркестра, на #melodion тоже раньше не исполнялось.

I dedicate this performance to my special piano teacher Svetlana Storozhuk, who taught me to love and understand Bach's music. I congratulate dear Svetlana Leonidovna on her recent birthday.
Traditionally, this piece is performed more dynamically, but I was impressed by the young Glenn Gould's restrained tempo, which I decided to replicate as a tribute to him. In addition to the pizzicato of the string orchestra, the most challenging part for me, from a philosophical rather than a performance standpoint, was the percussion section. It wasn't included in Bach's score, but I allowed myself to add my own symbolism.
However, this piece, written for the harpsichord accompanied by a string orchestra, has never been performed on a #melodion before.
