The piece is composed in an #Ambient #Cinematic style with elements of #Trance. Its complex form unfolds through three ascending modulations: from a grim C minor, up a semitone to a bright, elevated D-flat major, and then—blurring the boundary of transition—rises into a tragic E minor. At a certain point, a sharp tonal conflict erupts, an attempt to forcefully return to the original C minor. This attempt is interrupted. To reinforce the protagonist's realization that a return to the initial level is impossible, the finale breaks free and settles one more semitone higher, in F minor, grounded by descending bass figures.
The pulse of the composition is driven by the #Strobe2 analog-modulation software synthesizer from #ROLI RROLI A portion of the screen displays its live signal processing in real time. The piano provides both the rhythmic-harmonic foundation and emotional tone of the entire piece. From the piano part, a brass section has been re-constructed, emphasizing key notes and harmonic clusters using long muted brass pads—a timbre sourced from the #SinematicLights virtual hybrid multi-instrument by #PreSonus PPreSonus
Hovering above all this is the solo theremin voice. The instrument’s original timbre has been intentionally replaced with an expressive string ensemble from ROLI's #Equator2 software synthesizer. The voice of the protagonist thus soars above the music with high violins and descends into its texture with low cellos. Let us recall: the fundamental principle of playing the world’s first analog synthesizer, the theremin, invented over a century ago, is to feel and catch an invisible string—and only then to build the entire scale upon it.

Поэма о Буревестнике для терменвокса, фортепиано, медных духовых и синтезатора. 🎹 Исполняет автор. Работа закончена в июне 2025 г.
📝 Аннотация.
Произведение написано в стиле кинематографический эмбиент с элементами транс. Его сложная форма построена на трёх восходящих модуляциях: из угрюмого до-минора на полтона выше, в светлый возвышенный ре-бемоль мажор, затем, размывая границы перехода, музыка поднимается в трагичный ми-минор. В какой-то момент возникает резкий тональный конфликт с попыткой насильно вернуться, спуститься, в первоначальный до-минор. Эта попытка пресекается, и, чтобы укрепить героя в мысли о невозможности возвращения на первоначальный уровень, финал вырывается и утверждается нисходящими басами еще на полтона выше - в фа-минор.
Пульс композиции задаёт программный аналоговый-модуляционный синтезатор Strobe2 от Roli. Часть экрана показывает его работу в реальном времени. Ритмико-гармоническую основу и настроение всей композиции создаёт фортепиано – из него же вычленена и построена заново медная духовая секция, в которой автор подчеркнул важные ему ноты и созвучия фортепиано длинными пэдами тембром Brass muted от виртуального многослойного гибридного мультиинструмента Sinematic Lights от Presonus.
Над всем этим солирующая партия терменвокса, где оригинальный специфический тембр инструмента заменён автором на выразительную струнную группу программного синтезатора Equator2 от Roli, таким образом, чтобы диапазон голоса главного героя то парил над музыкой высокими скрипками, то опускался до фактуры произведения низкими виолончелями. Напомню: главный принцип игры на первом в мире, изобретённом более ста лет назад, аналоговом синтезаторе терменвокс: почувствовать, поймать невидимую струну – и только затем на ней строить весь звукоряд.
