Haunted Motion of Strings and Brass

        Здесь нет ни одной ноты созерцания или тишины. Напротив – непрерывное, бесконечное движение рваных струнных и тяжёлой меди, навязчиво преследующих слушателя от первого до последнего звука.

        От этого невозможно укрыться – так же, как и от окружающего нас безумного мира, сорвавшегося с катушек.

        Это жестоко. Но художник не может не транслировать общее положение вещей. Какими бы высокими ценностями он ни оперировал, реальность тоже требует своего выражения.

There is not a single note of contemplation or silence left here.

On the contrary – an uninterrupted, relentless motion of torn strings and heavy brass, obsessively pursuing the listener from the very first sound to the last.

There is no escape from this – just as there is no escape from the mad world around us, one that has completely spun out of control.

It is brutal. But an artist cannot avoid transmitting the state of things as they are. No matter how insistently one invokes higher values, reality demands to be voiced as well.
