Aus meines Herzens Grunde 🎹 Johann Christoph Bach (1642 – 1703) was a German composer and organist, was an older cousin of the great Johann Sebastian Bach who would later describe him in his Genealogy (Ursprung, 1735) as "the profound composer", suggesting a solid reputation not only within the family but also in wider musical society. He is not to be confused with Johann Sebastian Bach's son, Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach.
